The Sunday Supper "Come Together for the Coast" Fund was established to help rebuild the restaurant and food service supply chain in eastern North Carolina severely damaged by Hurricane Florence.
Grant funds may only be awarded to owners and proprietors of restaurants, food service companies, farmers and fishermen and other small businesses integral to the food and hospitality industry of eastern North Carolina.
To be eligible, your business must meet the following requirements:
- Businesses in North Carolina that can show demonstrable harm caused to their operation from Hurricane Florence in September, 2018
- Businesses that can show that private insurance coverage plus state and federal disaster aid assistance is failing to help them meet their needs to restart and rebuild their business
- Businesses that can demonstrate that receiving a grant from The Sunday Supper will result in the long-term viability of their operations
- Businesses that can demonstrate that receiving such a grant will help rebuild and rejuvenate economic development in their community and restore jobs to the area
Projects must be located in one of the counties under the federal disaster declaration.
